British Council - Going Global Conference ''Global connections, local impact"

The British Council’s annual conference for leaders of international education, Going Global 2018 will explore the theme - ‘Global connections, local impact: Creating 21st Century skills, knowledge and impact for society-wide good’. The 2018 Conference takes place from 2-4 May in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia.

HE Conference - Assisting providers in preparing for the QRV process (6 October)

South West College (SWC) is hosting a Higher Education (HE) Conference on Friday 6 October 2017 in their Dungannon Campus. The aim of the event is to assist providers in preparing for the quality review visit process. The event will run from 9am to 2.30pm.

Open Data Competition - Enter now

The Department of Finance in NI have launched a competition open to post primary and FE College students. They are giving students the opportunity to take some of the Open Data on Open Data NI and get creative with it. With the help of FabLab, successful entries will get the chance to build their project using the latest ‘cutting-edge’ digital fabrication techniques, such as 3D printing, laser cutting, integration of electronics, etc. This competition is run in conjunction with FabLab Belfast & FabLab Nerve Centre.

Nominations are now open for The British Education Awards 2018

These awards have been established to celebrate the academic achievements of students across the UK and Northern Ireland at GCSE and A-Level (or Scottish equivalents), and at Vocational and Degree level, as well as to recognise and highlight students’ outstanding extracurricular accomplishments.
