Nominations are now open for The British Education Awards 2018 Posted on 05/10/2017 00:00:00 These awards have been established to celebrate the academic achievements of students across the UK and Northern Ireland at GCSE and A-Level (or Scottish equivalents), and at Vocational and Degree level, as well as to recognise and highlight students’ outstanding extracurricular accomplishments.

All Finalists will be invited to attend black tie awards ceremony on Wednesday 31st January 2018, at Hilton Manchester Deansgate. Each finalist is entitled to bring their parents/guardians to the award ceremony.

Criteria for entry  

Each institution is eligible to nominate one student who has excelled academically; in addition, they must show excellence in a non-academic area, for example sport, the arts, enterprise, volunteering etc.

In order to be nominated the student must have completed a vocational qualification to BTEC or NVQ Level 3 (the A-Level equivalent) or higher and received their results in the 2016-2017 academic year.

BEA will require their full results/grades and relevant contact details including their name and address.
