HE Conference 'Preparing for a QRV Visit' - Follow up information now available

The HE Conference 'Preparing for a Quality Review Preparing for a Quality Review Visit' was held on 6 October 2017 in SWC - Dungannon Campus. Over 130 Delegates were in attendance from six FE Colleges, St Mary's University College, Stranmillis University College, DfE and QAA.

Employer Survey - deadline extended

Colleges NI has extended the deadline for the short survey on companies who have engaged with an FE College in the past and those that have not. The new deadline is Thursday 30 November 2017.

The 5th Call for Applications to the INTERREG - Northern Periphery and Arctic (NPA) Programme has opened. The Call is open from 1st October 2017 to 28th February 2018 for all 4 Priority Axes.

INTERREG - 6th Call for applications to the NW Europe Programme now open

The 6th Call for Applications to the INTERREG - North West Europe Programme will close on the 17th November 2017, two further Calls will be held in the spring and autumn of next year. A Project Ideas Lab was held in The Hague on the 4th October where a range of organisations across the eligible programme area sought partners for their project ideas ahead of future Calls.

Foodovation North West Regional College wins big at Irish Food Awards

The innovative Foodovation Centre at North West Regional College is celebrating the news that five of its clients have won a record nine prizes at the 2017 Irish Food Awards held at Dingle, County Kerry.

4 NI students off to Abu Dhabi to test their skills

WorldSkills is the largest skills competition of its kind. It is held every two years, with around 1,000 young people coming together from around the globe to compete. More than 45 different skills are represented at the competition from Engineering, Manufacturing, ICT to Professional Services. This year's event takes place in October 2017 with four NI students on Team UK which has 34 members.
